Bangladesh Non-Communicable Diseases Forum (BNCDF in short) is an initiative of the country’s leading research and development organization, Eminence Associates for Social Development. BNCDF is a non-profit, non-political and non-government organization established on 16th November 2009. Since the beginning it has become the prestigious platform for the Public Health experts, Physicians, Healthcare professionals, Researchers, Professional Associations, CSOs who are nationally prominent for their tireless contributions for the prevention, control, and management of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in Bangladesh. This platform also acts as a policy advocate and pressure group for the revitalization, formulation, and activation of NCD policies through advocacy in the country. BNCDF now is a vibrant, rapidly growing platform of discussion that strives to bring about a progressive Bangladesh where people can live in health equity. BNCDF envisions reinforcing an extensively and intensively participatory society that will be sustainable in terms of healthcare and health education locally as well as globally. The platform is now credible member of the NCD Alliance, Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), World Heart Federation (WHF) , International Diabetes Federation (IDF), Management Sciences for Health (MSH), World Obesity Federation (WO).
